Let us talk about how to get XP. In this game there are 3 Type of XP :

Combat =
Social =
Trade =

When you see a card having this icon on cards that means you'll get combat xp when you use it.

When you see this icon on cards that means you'll get social xp when you use it.
There is also several other ways to get social xp without using social cards :

1- Chatting in Ally/Public/Faction/Race Channel (Reply = 3 XP)
2- Reading Neuronet (Reading with Green Bulb = 3 XP)
3- Replying Neuronet (Reply with Yellow Bulb = 6 XP)
4- Establishing Neuronet (Establishing = 9 XP)
5- Establishing Homeland (Establishing Homeland = 30 XP)
6- Sending Card (Sending Card + Establishing Neuronet = 15 XP)
7- Energy Donation in Land (10 Energy = 3 XP)
8- xp in chat (just type only small caps xp in chat) (xp = 105 XP)

When you see this icon on cards that means you'll get trade xp when you use it.

Let us talk about Bonus & Absorption damage. During combat you'll notice that you get bonus and absorption in your combat log, let me explain how that works.

Bonus Damage
Bonus damage results in increase of your raw damage you get. To get a bonus damage your needs to be higher then your enemies .

You can get 25% bonus damage (only on players) if you use weapon of the same race color. EXAMPLE : If your a mythic and you use body type weapon on another player you can get bonus damage from your stats and 25% more for race color bonus.

Absorption Damage
Absorption damage results in decrease of your raw damage you get. You get absorption damage when your is less then your enemies .

Raw Damage
Raw damage results when your is equal to your enemies . When that happens You raw damage stays the same as it is.

Let us talk about skills. Skills is another important factor in the game and you cannot get any better cards if you do not raise your skills level.

All new players can get 5 out of 9 skills only. There is a limiter which stops you from buying more skills after getting 5 skills so you should choose wisely. To buy more skill slot you should have at least 300 PP and make a ticket to BRO asking them to buy "Letter to Santa".

There are 2 type of Skills in the game. The basic (1st and 2nd tier) skills and the advance (3rd tier) skills.

Basic Skills

There is only 6 skills available to choose at start and each skill has it own advantages and disadvantage :

Now I'm going to teach you about land types and how to tell which land has which type.

Let us start by how to locate where the description of the land type. Click on "Travel", you'll see a small description under the "Current Location" / "Details" . That small box will tell you exactly what type of land it is.

Now onto the land types. Each of these land types has different element to it so be sure to read it carefully :

NOTE : I'll EK and TEC (Faction) as example to help you understand better in the following examples.

Neutral : Neutral land is a free land that is not owned by anyone and everyone is free to claim it.
Positive : You are able to setup homeland.
Negative : You cannot deploy building in this land.

Claim : Claim land is a land claimed by a race/faction and has become their property until someone claims it. EXAMPLE : If EK faction claims a land it becomes theirs.
Positive : EK players can setup homeland here.
Positive : EK players can deploy building here.

Negative : TEC players cannot setup homeland here.
Negative : TEC players cannot deploy building here.
Negative : TEC can claim EK land.
Negative : If EK loses "Main Building" due to siege attack, the land become "Neutral".

Owned : Only 3 lands in all BRO has this type and they are Gaia's Heart/The Vault/Splinter of Ramiel.
Positive : Only Mythic/Promethean/Unliving race can setup homeland here.
Negative : The 3 race cannot deploy building.

Capital : Capital status can only be obtained when a faction deploys a level 10 "Main Building" and declares that land as their unclaimable land.
Positive : Land cannot be claimed in "Capital" status.
Positive : Land becomes Head Quarter and Safe Haven of that faction.
Positive : Land cannot be reversed to "Neutral" status even after if they lose their "Main Building" due to siege attack.

Negative : You can have 1 capital only, so you have to be careful which land you want to capitalize for the entire season. Once you made a capital you can never make another capital in any of your claimed lands at all.

FFA : FFA is short for "Free For All". Normally in all other lands players of the same race or faction cannot hit each other but FFA land removes the restriction of hitting players of the same race and faction.
Positive : All players of the same race and faction can hit each other.
Positive : Certain FFA land has higher crystal % then claimed/owned/capital lands.

Negative : Cannot claim land.

Fog : Fog lands is like a land of maze, once you enter the land you cannot tell what land you'll see after you move in any direction.
Positive : Fog land is the only way to reach very-hard-to-reach lands (Click on "Travel" > "View World Map" > "Fog Dimension").
Negative : Cannot see players name.
Negative : All players can hit each other.
Negative : Fog Land shuffle after every 1 hour, so memorizing the route is a waste of time (You can depend on luck only in Fog Lands).

Quest : Quest land are special lands which you can find an NPC selling rare and powerful blueprint in exchange for trophies. It is a land where most players goes to hunt MOB and earn rare trophies from MOB's and Bosses.
Positive : Can obtain rare and powerful blueprint from NPC.
Positive : Bosses can be found in one of these lands.

Negative : NPC can be found in these land for limited amount of time then leaves the game.

Protected : These lands are usually beta lands which has not been released to the game yet.
Negative : All action in these land is disabled (except for traveling) and absolutely cannot do anything here.

City : Last but not least, the city land is one of the important places in BRO land which has shops to buy or sell blueprints/cards/crystals/trophies and repair cards shop.
Positive : All race and faction players can setup homeland here (especially to factions with no lands of their own).
Positive : All BRO blueprint and Repair shop can be found.

Negative : Cannot claim land.

Here are 2 lands that you should watch out and not travel :

Free Fall and Fog Exit.

Free Fall and Fog Exit will drop your Health Point to 1 and will take you to random land of all BRO land.

When you start the game you have only 1 homeland for each 3 race.

Gaia's Heart is the "Mythic" race coreland and is one of the 3 lands that cannot be taken away by other faction.

The Vault is the "Promethean" race coreland and is one of the 3 lands that cannot be taken away by other faction.

Splinter of Ramiel is the "Unliving" race coreland and is one of the 3 lands that cannot be taken away by other faction.

In homeland when your status is "Normal", every 5 minutes you heal 20% of your HP. Whenever you want to time your attack and heal in homeland be sure to keep you status "Normal" before these 2 timer shows in BRO timer :

xx:x0:xx
xx:x5:xx

If there are other lands claimed by the same race/faction as your you can setup homeland there. To do that you'll need to click on "Travel" then click on "Set Homeland Here" and you'll have to wait 10 minutes before you can travel to other lands (Timer is shorter in War of Gods server 2 & 3).
